The Primary objectives of the institute are to provide the
best education which will enable young countrymen, boys and
girls, to build their career as professional managers, to
equip them with latest concepts and upto date knowledge, to
develop in them managerial skills and aptitudes, to instil
business ethics and thus to roll out competent managers to
perform superbly.
Presidency College of Engineering (PCE), with dedication
to its objectives, is going to produce more than 500 performance
oriented engineers who are willing to place in high position
in the best of the corporate and industry in the country and
abroad.
Presidency College of Engineering (PCE) - a part of Maharishi
Arvind Group of Institutions have been promoted by the Arvind
Bharti Vidyalaya Samiti, a non-profit organization, founded
in 1975 in Jaipur with the inspiration from the teachings
of the great yogi, thinker, freedom fighter and philosopher,
Maharishi Aurobindo.
The organization is dedicated to promote professional and
technical education in the state and is presently conducting
various programmes at post graduate and undergraduate levels
from eight institutions. The programmes are approved by the
AICTE/ affiliated to the University of Rajasthan.
The primary objectives of the Institute are:
- To provide the best education, which will enable young
men/women to build their careers as professional managers
& technocrats.
- To equip them with up-to-date knowledge to develop
managerial skills and aptitudes, to instill business ethics
and with competent performance as managers & technocrats.
- To provide a broader socioeconomic scope against which
a particular managerial problem can be assessed. The emphasis
shall be on decision-making process with reference to
the Indian and International situation.
- To development of managerial expertise for implementation
of business aspects.
- To introduce basic tools and concepts for analysis
and other functional areas of management and business
as well to develop special skills and management aptitude
required in global environment.
The Institute's campus measures around 3 acres. It
has a covered area around 1 Lac sq. ft. The building consists
of class rooms, computer centre, conference hall, library,
auditorium, various laboratories/workshops and administration
block, with lush green lawns around.
The Institute has a huge library having a rich collection
of important books, journals, magazines and updates from
corporate world and government reports on management and
allied disciplines. It subscribes to more than 15 newspapers
in English and Hindi, approximately 40 National/International
journals and magazines and has a collection of over 15000
books. It also has one of the latest facilities, DELNET,
through which the students have access to more that 2 million
records.
